Kemerovo Region sees Asian coal exports below 2022 plan
KEMEROVO, Dec 16 (PRIME) -- The Kemerovo Region expects to export 46.7 million tonnes of coal eastwards instead of the 58 million tonnes planned for 2022, a the regional coal industry ministry said in a statement on Friday.
"According to a preliminary forecast based on the results for 11 months of this year (42.8 million tonnes), exports in 2022 are expected at 46.7 million tonnes, which is 11.3 million tonnes less than the presidential order (-19.5%)," the statement said.
The region shipped 4.8 million tonnes eastwards in November, including 4.4 million tonnes of exports, it said.
